Glück und Selig is certainly one of the most popular place for weekend brunch in Hamburg. Located in the quiet and expensive area, Eimsbuettel. We arrived there shortly before 11 and it was completely full. We sat outside and waited for about half hour, so our suggestion is to reserve in advance!
As an Italian, it might be hard to start a weekend without cappuccino. for Peppe’s standard, quite so-so cappuccino.
The croissant with jam and butter was ok, tasty and not overloaded with butter.
ORIENT set: homemade bread, hummus, cherry tomatoes, olives, goat cheese, yoghurt with honey and walnuts.
Hummus was very tasty. My favourite in the set would be the yoghurt. The rest was quite average, anybody can actually get all the ingredients from a supermarket and assemble this plate at home.
Homemade bread, was still warm, also nothing special.
Nevertheless the environment inside is very nice and cozy and gives a nice feeling.
